Our 291st Cabildo Luncheon was on August 6, 2022
CIDA awarded the two recipients for the 2022 Academic Scholarships. CIDA President, Freddie Bustillo, and Education/Scholarship Committee Chair, Suzanne Salinas-Vallidez, presented the Scholarship Award Certificates to two recipients in front of the Founders’ Monument on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 10:00 AM. For this 2021-2022 school year, Lauryn Renae Gonzalez was recognized as the CIDA Member Scholarship recipient and Amari Kanye Chester was recognized as the Dr. Alfonso Chiscano Scholarship recipient. This fall, Lauryn Gonzalez is scheduled to attend St. Edwards University. This fall, Amari Kanye Chester plans to attend the University of Texas at Dallas.
