The Canary Islands Descendants Association encourages all membership applications.
You do not need to be a direct descendant of one of the original sixteen families to join.
CIDA offers five membership categories for those wishing to join our organization.

CIDA membership offers fantastic opportunities to connect with a community of people who cherish the story of the 16 Canary Islands families who after an arduous journey arrived on March 9, 1731.
With several different membership options, you can be a part of our lineage society and continue the cultivation of the 16 Canary Islands families’ historical impact on the state of Texas.
